This might be considered an extravagant use of valuable equipment!
Meanwhile in Europe crews were being trained and trials carried out as Tiger production expanded. Here a tank is being tested with a snow plough attachment in mountainous terrain at Grossglocken.

Tigers in a mountain pass in northern Italy, the crews bivouacking next to their vehicles.

The lack of camouflage or any obvious concern about potential air attack suggests a training exercise at an earlier stage of the campaign rather than an action situation later in the war.
