By the summer of 1993 a start was made on re-assembling the suspension. Here tyres are fitted back onto road wheels, having been removed so that rust could be cleaned out of the rim.
The next stage is to insert the road wheel arms, which will then be linked up to the torsion bars.

This is painstaking work, the items are heavy but they have to be fitted with the greatest care to avoid the risk of damage.

A view showing how the arms are secured on the inside. Note that every alternate hole is required to secure the torsion bar from the opposite side, which we shall show next month.
