With
all the resources at ABRO (Army Base Repair Organisation) Bovington at their
disposal the enthusiastic team of engineers made rapid progress with the
Tiger's turret. Here we see the turret floor, devoid of most fittings and with the majority of the dents knocked out. Notice the large, hinged flap on the far side. |

Then the fittings start to go on. Here we see the loader's hatch from the inside, complete with the locking catch and cushioning system, all working. Note also the tiny festoon light and its wiring, evidence of the superb attention to detail at ABRO. |
