A sight nobody had seen for five years; hull and turret reunited.

From this angle the turret looks too small, possibly due to the colour contrast, or the effect of the light.

Watching, as the turret came to rest upon the hull it was interesting to see that there was no appreciable change to the suspension.

It remained as solid as ever despite all the extra weight.

From the rear it all looked very uninteresting. Again the great bulk of the hull made the turret look tiny.

Many of the rear hull fittings had been badly damaged in the course of time and a great deal of work remained to be done, but at this stage we really felt that there had been some progress.
